Many religious people will be sadly disappointed at the great white throne judgment to find that they were not saved. Matthew 7:21-23
Our greatest mission field could well be within the four walls of our churches, and the greatest list of prospects for salvation could be the church membership rolls. One must get it settled in this life as there won't be a second chance.after death. There are many things important to us in this world, but absolutely nothing as important as one's soul salvation.
my aim in this message is not to offend you but to help you. I> Faith makes a Christian. Ephesians 2:8 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God A. All
through the Bible we find the doctrine of salvation by grace.
B. There are two facts about faith.we need to see. 1.
FAITH = believing something. It is to completely trust, have confidence
2. faith has an object. That object is Jesus. II> Life proves a Christian. III.>Chastening confirms a Christian. Hebrews 12:5-8 5And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: 6For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. 7If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? 8But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. "chastening" = an old fashioned whipping God does not whip the "devil's" children.. No chastisement means one thing. One is not a Christian if there is no chastisement IV> Death Crowns a Christian
