2 I am the
LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of
the house of bondage.
3 Thou shalt have no
other gods before me.
4 Thou shalt not make
unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in
heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water
under the earth:
5 Thou shalt not bow
down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a
jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children
unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
6 And shewing mercy
unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
7 Thou shalt not take
the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him
guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
8
Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
9 Six days shalt thou
labour, and do all thy work:
10 But the seventh day
is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work,
thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy
maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
11 For in six days the
LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and
rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and
hallowed it.
12 Honour thy father
and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD
thy God giveth thee.
13 Thou shalt not
kill.
14 Thou shalt not
commit adultery.
15 Thou shalt not
steal.
16 Thou shalt not bear
false witness against thy neighbour.
17 Thou shalt not
covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife,
nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor
any thing that is thy neighbour's.
Matthew 5:19
19 Whosoever
therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach
men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but
whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in
the kingdom of heaven.
Genesis 2:22
22 And the rib, which
the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto
the man.
After the
resurrection of Jesus the church assembled for worship on
the first
day of the week., which was Sunday,
Which day of the week did God command the church to assemble to worship?
explanation coming soon.. God never commanded any specific day. We have the example of the early church. Acts 20:7:
And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them,.
1.Exodus 31:
16 Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.
17 It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed

I> Prepare
Prayerfully. Prayer gets us ready.
(Gets us ready for heaven)
pray about everything-- Phillipians 4:6
6Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and
supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto
God.
II>
Plan Purposefully. We must
plan to go to church on Sunday III>
Proceed Positively.
Since the flesh and the devildo not want you to go to church, we must
kbnow his strastegy and meet them head on.
2Corinthians 2:11 11Lest
Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his
devices. 1
Thessalonians 2:18 18Wherefore
we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan
hindered us
IV>
Be Persistent. We must be
serious, and determined in what we plan to do for the Lord.
Thank you for listening to todays service. Now concerning the
laws of God.
I would like to add here that they are still in effect today.
The unbeliever is accountable to God by this law. Condemned already.
The only hope of Pardon from this condemnation is faith in
the shed blood of Jesus Christ
