How
God Expresses His love for us I. HE GAVE HIS SON JOHN 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." A. This is the greatest gift ever given. B. God gave his son to die for sinners. Luke19:10 10For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. 1 Timothy1:15 15This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. 16Howbeit for this II. HE DEMONSTRATE S HIS LOVE BY SAVING US. We did not find Him, He found us. III. HE DEMONSTRATE SHIS LOVE BY CHASTENING US Hebrews12:6-11 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. 7If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? 8But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. 9Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? 10For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. 11Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. A. Chastening is to correct us. B. He disciplines us to direct us. 1.

C.
He chastens us to protect us. he protected Abraham and sarah
when they left Bethel and went down to Egypt. pharoah told him to get
out.D. He discipline us to perfect us. We are not talking about sinles perfection, but spiritual maturity. IV.HE DEMONSTRATE HIS LOVE BY GIVING US GRACE 2Corinthians 12:9 9And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. God gives us grace for every trial and there will allways be more than needed. V. HE DEMONSTRATES HIS LOVE BY PREPARING A WONDERFUL PLACE CALLED HEAVEN. There are no words to describe that place. 1Corinthians 2:9 9But
as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have
entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for
them that love him
